Most IV therapy sessions last between 45 minutes – 1 hour , depending on the specific treatment and individual needs.
Is IV therapy safe?
All of Nuuvo Health’s mobile IV therapy treatments are administered by licensed nurses or paramedics. We follow strict safety protocols to ensure each session is safe and effective.
How many times a week can you get an IV?
Each client is different. Please reach out to one of our providers to talk about your goals to determine the best solution for you.
What type of other infusions do you offer?
We currently only offer vitamin infusion IV and NAD. We do not offer iron infusions or antibiotic infusions.
Should I get an IV before or after a sporting event?
You can do them before or after. Post-event IV hydration is generally more beneficial than pre-event administration. It aids in rapid rehydration, replenishes lost electrolytes, and delivers nutrients directly to muscles, reducing soreness and accelerating recovery.
Does flying on airplanes dehydrate you?
Yes, flying can dehydrate you. The lower humidity and dry air in airplane cabins, combined with not drinking enough water, can lead to dehydration during flights.
Is IV therapy covered by insurance?
Nuuvo Health does not bill insurance. We advise you to check with the specific provider regarding reimbursement options.
